About

I am currently a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Linguistics at Cornell. I completed my undergraduate education at New York University in 2022, where I earned a B.A. with High Honors in Linguistics with a minor in Spanish. Before NYU, I attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at the University of North Texas, an early college residential program for high school students who excel in STEM fields.

My research interests are in the areas of syntax and computational linguistics, with focus on morphosyntax and codeswitching. My current research investigates agreement attraction effects in Spanish-English codeswitching.

When Iā€™m not studying linguistics, I enjoy reading fantasy and participating in various sports. You can find me reading Discword novels, rock climbing, racing triathlons, and recently even teaching sea kayaking with Cornell Outdoor Education.
